April 2017 Oakland County Real Estate Update

Can you believe this real estate market? This is insane, the lowest inventory in 30 years according to our broker here and what he has experienced... Supply and demand at its finest. Home sellers are selling and making money on their homes without the fear of losing money on the transaction. Sellers are loving life but buyers are experiencing something completely different... We still have all-time low interest rates but that makes it more of a battle for buyers in this already tightening market. But, my coach at Michigan State when I played hockey said that "you have to love to battle!"

There really hasn't been a time to sell like this in 10 years. We, fortunately, have more of a natural "bubble" as it is more supply driven than "loan" driven.
